Terms of Use
Effective 31 October 2026
These terms apply to the Mac app Tidy: System Data Cleaner (“Tidy”, “the app”), developed by Little Sunday (“we”, “us”). Tidy is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add details about the app and Tidy Pro. If they conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails. By using the app you agree to both.
1. What Tidy does
Tidy scans your Mac, shows what takes up space and helps you remove what you no longer need. Scanning, the disk report, everyday junk cleanup, large files, removing apps, history and putting things back are free. Tidy Pro unlocks duplicates, video compression, developer data, AI models, virtual machines, app leftovers and caches, and one-click cleanup of every section.
2. Tidy Pro purchases
Tidy Pro is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and for the same period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, it is available once per Apple Account. When the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
- The lifetime purchase is a single payment with no subscription and unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered for your Mac.
- Purchases are shared through Family Sharing where Apple supports it. To restore purchases on another Mac, use “Restore” in the app.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
3. Your files
Tidy removes only what you select or confirm. Before anything is removed, you see what it is and how much space it takes. Files are moved to the Trash and photos to Recently Deleted, and the cleanup history lets you put them back while they are still there. Once you empty the Trash or Recently Deleted, the files are gone for good, and neither Tidy nor we can recover them.
Tidy marks items as safe based on general rules about how macOS and common apps store data. Your setup may differ. Please review what you remove, keep a backup (for example, with Time Machine), and do not remove files you are unsure about. You can add folders to “Never touch” so Tidy always skips them.
4. Acceptable use
Use Tidy only on Macs you own or are allowed to manage. Do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except as permitted by the Standard EULA and applicable law.
5. No warranty
Tidy is provided “as is”. We work to make it accurate and safe, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors, that it will free a particular amount of space, or that it will work with every configuration of macOS and third-party apps.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, profits or any indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of the app, including removal of files you selected. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Tidy Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
7. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change, we will update this page and its effective date. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.
